Description of Service
TCGValuator helps you scan Japanese Pokémon cards, look up candidate card matches, estimate US resale pricing, and calculate an estimated profit/loss to help you decide whether to buy a card. It is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee.
No Financial or Valuation Guarantee
Card identification (via OCR and third-party card databases) and pricing estimates (via third-party marketplace data) may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Any "BUY" or "PASS" recommendation is an automated estimate only. You are solely responsible for your own purchase, sale, and valuation decisions — TCGValuator is not liable for any financial outcome resulting from use of the Service.
Accounts
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to abuse, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service or the third-party APIs it relies on.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Google Cloud Vision, Google Sign-In, the eBay Browse API, and TCGdex) to function. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their availability, accuracy, or changes to their terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, particularly for suspected abuse or violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service, or request account deletion, at any time.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TCGValuator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profit, arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
